Our locally sourced Double Boiled Linseed oil is 100% pure and free from any additives or driers.
Cold-pressed in a small scale oil mill on a family farm in Western Canada, this premium wood finishing product has been boiled twice for a total of 40 hours. It provides long lasting, natural protection from the elements and leaves a timeless semi-gloss finish on wood or metal. Can be applied to clean sanded, freshly stained or previously oiled surfaces. Greyed wood should be sanded prior to application for optimal penetration but we encourage you to try different approaches to your finished products and do what suits you best. This double boiled linseed oil also makes a great base for creating your own traditional varnish or paint.
Our tin f-style jugs contain a minimum of 25% recycled content and are 100% recyclable.
Currently only available in the one litre container, we will be adding the one gallon container in the future as well as a local refill option to reduce packaging and end user cost.
