Woodworkers for Christ, in partnership with George Supply Company needs you now more than ever! The C word is one we all fear, Cancer. In the summer of 2021 Jake Mocko was diagnosed with an aggressive cancerous tumor surrounding his spinal cord. During the surgery to remove the tumor his spinal cord was damaged, which unfortunately resulted in Paraplegia. Only a few months prior in February of 2021, 2000 miles away in Canada, Brady Born was beginning his battle with the same aggressive cancerous tumor on his spinal cord. Before the surgery to remove Brady’s tumor he was given an 80% chance of a successful surgery, unfortunately, Brady’s surgery also resulted in Paraplegia. YOU can make a difference in Jake and Brady’s lives today by purchasing one of our “Woodworkers for Christ” t-shirts at the link provided below. All the profits are going to be distributed evenly to both Jakes’s and Brady’s GoFundMe accounts. Our combined goal is to provide Jake and Brady the financial relief they need for their medical expenses and home accessibility needs. Recently, I had the great privilege and pleasure of connecting Jake and Brady via Instagram so they could share their experiences with each other and focus on recovery. Below are the individual links to Jake and Brady’s GoFundMe pages that contain more information on both of their conditions, as well as updates on their progress throughout treatment.
